You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as phylacteries between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.” (Deuteronomy 6:8-9 LSB)
“And you shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates,” (Deuteronomy 11:20 LSB)
“If they feel dishonor for all that they have done, make known to them the design of the house, its structure, its exits, its entrances, all its designs, all its statutes, and all its laws. And write it in their sight so that they may keep its whole design and all its statutes and do them. This is the law of the house: within its entire boundary, on the top of the mountain all around, shall be most holy. Behold, this is the law of the house.” (Ezekiel 43:11-12 LSB)
“Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me.” (Revelation 3:20 LSB)
“You are to take a bundle of hyssop, dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and apply it to the crossbeam and two doorposts with the blood from the basin. None of you may go out the door of his house until morning. Adonai will pass through to strike down the Egyptians, but when He sees the blood on the crossbeam and the two doorposts, Adonai will pass over that door, and will not allow the destroyer to come into your houses to strike you down. Also you are to observe this event as an eternal ordinance, for you and your children. “When you come into the land which Adonai will give you as He has promised, you are to keep this ceremony.” (Exodus 12:22-25 TLV)
“Get rid of the old hametz, so you may be a new batch, just as you are unleavened—for Messiah, our Passover Lamb, has been sacrificed.” (1 Corinthians 5:7 TLV)
“Even the bird has found a home, And the swallow a nest for herself, where she sets her young, At Your altars, O Yahweh of hosts, My King and my God. How blessed are those who dwell in Your house! They are ever praising You. Selah. For better is a day in Your courts than a thousand elsewhere. I would choose to stand at the threshold of the house of my God Than dwell in the tents of wickedness.” (Psalm 84:3-4, 10 LSB)
When Jesus died on the cross. He tore the Veil to the Holy of Holies, meaning we can access the Holy of Holies. Our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and God lives in us.
Jesus is our ultimate sacrificial lamb; therefore, we do not have to sacrifice lambs and put their blood on our doorstep. Praise the Lord God, but we can put scriptures, the cross, and anointing oil on our doorsteps as a physical reminder and representation of God’s presence.
Here are some ways to translate these scriptures in today’s modern day;
🫒Add bible verses to your doorstep.
🕊️Bless your Nest, anointing it with God’s presence.
🌻Do a prayer walk around your Nest, anointing every window and door, any entrance to your Nest.
📖Insert scripture scripts or the bible into your foundation when building.
🪹Add scripture to the cornerstone of your Nest when building.
🧂Inscript your cement flooring with Bible verses.
🍃Add bible verses under your tiles and between your ceiling boards.
🫒Engrave verses into every room around your Nest.
🌻Engrave verses on your gate.

🧂Engrave scripture onto your door.
🍃Create a prayer garden/prayer corner/prayer room/prayer journal, etc
🪹Add scripture into your garden as you plant seeds.
🕊️Pray as you garden.
📖Recite scripture as you hang your clothing and remove it.
🫒Add scripture to your washing line.
🌻Add Verses to your driveway and walkway.
🧂Pray over anything that was left in your home by a previous owner: stove, gate motor, geyser, etc
📖Add verses to every door and entryway of your Nest.
🪹Add scripture magnets to your fridge door.
🕊️Add the cross to every room of your Nest.
🍃Add scripture to your walls with vinyl stickers.
🧂Add cross key holders to every key of the doors of your Nest and car.
🪹Add bible verses into your attic or basement or pantry or cold room or storage room.

🍃Play worship music daily to set the scene in your Nest.
🕊️Meditate on God’s Word in your heart as the leader in your Nest.
📖Pray and worship while cleaning and decluttering each room in your Nest.
🌻Pray and recite scripture as you enter every room in your Nest.
🫒Teach your children the Word of God in everything you do.
Remember, we are functioning out of faith and not out of fear. Blessing and protecting our Nests for the present and future.
Future-proofing your Nest from any attacks of the enemy. Canceling anything negative that may have been planted in your Nest by the enemy.
And planting new seeds for the blessing of our home to new generations. And dedicating every space of our Nests to Yahweh.
Also, remember we are raising a nation within the walls of our Nests and setting an example for them.
“My people will dwell in a peaceful habitation, in secure dwellings, and in quiet resting places.”
(Isaiah 32:18)

May you find rest in your Nest in Yahweh.
Shalom.
Thank you, Jesus.
Following His ways 🌻,
Natasha Chetty.
