The power of Prayer as a mother:
#What stands us out and makes us different as Christian Mothers is that we PRAY and Read God’s WORD!
#We have a father who we can run to for our children and ourselves, no matter the time as our children run to us.
Our God is loving and caring, and He listens to us. He speaks to us to.
#It makes our lives as mothers and our mothering so much easier when we pray.
#We have a father who loves our children more than us and gave them to us as gifts.
#Many times, and many tasks as mothers feel unseen but we do things for God who sees everything we do. And our reward in Heaven is great. God also rewards us in many ways we do not see.
“But first and most importantly seek (aim at, strive after) His kingdom and His righteousness [His way of doing and being right—the attitude and character of God], and all these things will be given to you also.”
Matthew 6:33 AMP.
But what is prayer? Simply put prayer is having a conversation with God. Christians have a relationship with God. Our main means of communication with God is through prayer and reading Gods Word.
When we read Gods Word, He speaks to us.
When we pray to God and take time to listen, He speaks to us.
There is no written manual for motherhood, but in Christ we have a manual and someone who leads and directs us in our journey through motherhood. The way to tap into this power manual is through prayer and reading Gods word.
It’s not enough to go to church on Sundays and listen to the Pastor preach. God wants a one-on-one relationship with us, that’s why He tore the curtain to the Holy of Holies, so that everyone (all mothers) can call on Gods’ name. This is how we learn His voice through prayer.
“But Jesus uttered a loud cry, and breathed out His last [voluntarily, sovereignly dismissing and releasing His spirit from His body in submission to His Father’s plan]. 38 And the veil [of the Holy of Holies] of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. “
Prayer unlocks the doors to Gods promises and His blessings.
Motherhood is hard and many times goes unnoticed. Many things we do go unnoticed and unappreciated, but in God through prayer, we find our fulfillment and purpose. Our God sees us.
The many times we get up alone at night with crying babies, the many diapers we change, the many dishes and endless laundry. We get tired, but in God through prayer, He renews our strength.
There so many benefits of prayer. But I will not dwell into it. Instead, I am offering my comprehensive book about Praying mothers.
Mothers, we don’t have to feel hopeless in our motherhood walk anymore.
This is a 166-page PDF comprehensive book, which I have worked tirelessly with the Holy Spirit, will teach you about and encourage you about prayer and the power of praying mothers.
