Our Mission – Natural Nest

The inspiration for Natural Nest was laid on my heart many years ago.

One day, I sat in my backyard and watched a weaverbird take apart his nest, strand by strand, until nothing was left. I wondered why he would do that.

I looked it up and quickly learned how carefully the weaver bird builds its home.

The male bird chooses the best soft grasses and plant fibers. He uses his beak and feet to weave every part of the nest with care, making a safe nest for eggs, with a long tunnel for extra protection.

The mother bird checks the nest. If it’s not strong and safe, the male bird starts over and rebuilds it with patience.

When the nest is ready and the female approves it, they mate and eggs are made. These eggs are covered under the shadow of the birds wings, creating a safe spot for warmth and growth. 

When the eggs hatch, Mama and Daddy bird go looking for food and bring it home for baby bird to eat and grow. Soon they learn to fly. 

Watching this, I realized a home is more than walls and furniture. A real home is a place of warmth, provision, food, safety, and peace.

Every little thing we do, like cleaning, decorating, and organizing, – Biblical Homemaking –  helps make a loving and caring space.

Natural Nest was made because we long for just this kind of home, a peaceful, safe, and natural haven, where every detail matters. Like the weaver bird, we want to help you build your home with purpose and care.
