Mother of Valor: Strength in Warfare

Mother of Valor: A Spiritual Warrior: Strength in Warfare.

Being a mother isn’t just about physical work. It’s a spiritual battle that we fight on our knees.

Inspired by the book “Fervent” by (Priscilla Shirer), mothers are encouraged to wage war against the enemy through prayer and putting on the Full Armor of God to protect them and their families.

The enemy tries to attack mothers because they are life giving and have a big impact on future generations.

True strength comes from prayer, reading the Bible, and relying on God.

Woman of Valor in Hebrew is “Eshet Chayil” which means Strength in Warfare.

Examples of Women of Valor in the Bible:

  • Ruth: Kind, caring, loyal, trustworthy, and important in God’s plan.
  • Proverbs 31 Woman: Always ready, wise, hardworking, helpful to others, and respects God.
  • Queen Esther: Got ready for her role, stayed calm under pressure, prayed, and bravely spoke up for her people.

What Makes a mother of Valor?

  • Loves God and finds strength in Him
  • Someone her family can always trust
  • Works hard and takes care of her loved ones
  • Wise, kind, and generous
  • Brave in tough times, gentle in actions
  • Wants her family to have strong faith and love

How Can Mothers Practice This?

  • Praying always
  • Letting the Bible guide her life
  • Trusting Jesus for strength
  • Being a good example of love and faith at home
  • Staying close to God
  • Putting on the full Armor of God
  • Relying and being rooted in God

Reminder: A mother of valor doesn’t have to be perfect. She keeps trying, prays for her family, depends on God and lovingly teaches them about faith.

Shalom,

Following God’s Ways,

Natasha Chetty.
