The Lord’s Provision for the Mother of Valor: The Widow’s Oil

May this oil, this bundle remind you that:

The Lord Provides. And He will again.

☕ Clay Mug

  • The Cup represents overflow — more than enough
  • The clay mug represents community, the Widow went to her neighbours and asked for vessels which they happily gave. She must have had a relationship with them before she could borrow from them. When the widow was down and out, her community was there for her even when its a small thing as just offering an empty jar for olive oil.
  • It also represents overflow. When God blesses and provides, He gives you in abundance and overflow. Because of the widows obedience, her neighbours experienced the overflow.
  • The clay mug would also be a toast to relax and a pat on the back after a hard works day of creating.
  • The clay mug is a reminder to pause, take a sip & “Be Still” and know that He is God. He has overcome.

A subtle important reminder:

You are Gods vessel.

You are the empty jar that still belongs on the shelf of His miracles.

When you feel forgotten,

when you feel small,

when you have nothing left but a jar of oil—

Let God fill it.

Shalom

Thank you Jesus
